This book was great! The story took place in Jackson, Mississippi during the civil rights era. Now when the main character, Skeeter, decides to write a book about the realities of being a black maid in the south, Abileen (who is one of the maids) knows that they are risking their lives by getting involved.

The map to your divine path is love. The closer you get to loving without fear (that same fear that past hurt has taught 99% of us) the more likely you are to find and stay on your path.
